Booking Conditions
Guests can book their accommodation online at www.mariposaazul.es or by email at info@mariposaazul.es.
The minimum number of nights that can be booked is 10 nights.
The accommodation price is for the entire accommodation unit. The accommodation unit can accommodate 6 people.
Children under 2 years old stay free of charge.
The price of the accommodation is payable in EUR and is per night for the entire apartment.
The guest will receive a confirmation of the booking to the email address provided.
Providing the guest's details is mandatory in accordance with legal regulations.
Payment terms
50% of the total amount must be paid upon booking, the remaining 50% must be paid 30 days prior to arrival, by bank transfer.
If the booking is made within 30 days prior to arrival, the 100% fee must be paid at the time of booking, by bank transfer.
The accommodation provider will confirm the guest's online booking by email to the email address provided by the guest. The confirmation email will contain the booking details.
The accommodation fee must be paid in EUR by bank transfer, within 48 hours of booking.
If the amount of the accommodation fee is not received, the accommodation provider will consider that the guest has cancelled the reservation and will cancel it.
Cancellation conditions
In case of cancellation, the reservation fee is partially refundable: If the guest cancels the reservation, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total price. If the guest does not show up, the no-show fee is the total price.
The modification fee is 10% of the service fee.
If the modified and confirmed reservation falls into a period where the rate is higher than the rates valid at the time of the original reservation, the accommodation provider is entitled to adjust the rates by the difference.
If the modified and confirmed reservation falls into a period where the rate is lower than the rates valid at the time of the original reservation, the accommodation provider is not obliged to adjust the rates.
In the event of a "no show", i.e. absence without cancellation, 100% of the advance payment paid is considered a penalty, and the accommodation provider is entitled to release the accommodation to another guest from the day after the confirmed arrival. Check-in later than the ordered and confirmed time or check-out earlier than the guest is not entitled to a refund of any confirmed and charged fees. The accommodation provider will transfer any refundable amount to the bank account number provided by the customer within three days of receiving the cancellation.
The accommodation provider may cancel the reservation by written declaration if unavoidable external circumstances have arisen that preclude the intended use of the accommodation. The accommodation provider cannot provide other accommodation. In this case, the accommodation provider will notify the guest immediately. In such a case, the accommodation provider will either refund the already paid service fee without delay, or include it in the price of the modified reservation, at the customer's choice. In this case, the accommodation will not charge a handling fee for the modification or cancellation.
Arrival
The accommodation can be occupied from 14:00 to 20:00 on the day of arrival. Later arrivals must be notified in advance. The accommodation must be notified in advance of the arrival time in order to ensure access. Earlier occupancy of the accommodation is possible only by prior arrangement and subject to availability, but is not guaranteed.
The keys to the accommodation will be handed over to the guest.
Departure
On the day of departure, the Guest must leave the accommodation with their luggage and belongings no later than 10:00 and hand over the keys received at check-in to the accommodation provider.
Pets
Pets and small animals are not allowed in the accommodation. Assistance dogs are allowed upon prior notification. Assistance dogs must wear or display a distinctive tag.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused by the service dog and for compensation.
Parking
The property does not have its own parking space, free street parking is available, which is not guaranteed and cannot be reserved.
Smoking
Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited in the apartment and in the common areas of the apartment building. Smoking is allowed in the designated area, on the balcony.
The property is equipped with a smoke detector. If the guest smokes in the apartment or if the smoke detector detects this, the guest is required to pay a compensation of EUR 100.
WIFI
The accommodation has a Wi-Fi system, which is free of charge.
The continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of Wi-Fi is not guaranteed due to unexpected, unannounced, longer or shorter service interruptions by the internet service provider.
The Wi-Fi connection password and server name can be found at the accommodation.
Security
Everyone may stay in the apartment at their own risk and use the devices in the apartment at their own risk. Any unauthorized technical intervention in the accommodation's equipment and furnishings is strictly prohibited. The accommodation is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from this.
The guest must act with increased attention and caution if a child is staying with them. The child's companions are responsible for the child's safety and for any damage caused by the child, and for compensation for such damage.
In the event of a fire, the guest is obliged to follow the designated escape route and the instructions of the firefighter on site. The fire extinguisher is located in the living room of the accommodation.
Abnormal behavior
In the interest of the peace of the residential community, loud noise, music, activities involving noise, noise, sound effects, television or radio at a disturbing volume in the room are prohibited in the accommodation area every day between 22:00 and 08:00. Parties, events, hen or stag parties are prohibited in the accommodation area.
Regardless of the time, any behavior or conduct that disturbs the peace, safety, sense of security, or privacy of others, which constitutes or may constitute harassment, and is capable of intimidating others, is prohibited in the accommodation area and in the common area of the residential building.
The accommodation excludes liability for any harm caused by the guest's behavior to other residents and/or guests.
Equipment
The Guest is obliged to use the equipment and facilities of the accommodation as intended and to preserve the integrity of the property of the accommodation. The Guest is obliged to compensate for any damage resulting from improper use.
The equipment and facilities of the accommodation may not be removed from the accommodation area. Rearranging or moving the furniture in the accommodation is not permitted. The accommodation is not liable for any material damage or personal injury resulting from the movement of the equipment.
The accommodation provides towels, bed linen and bed covers for guests. If necessary, additional blankets can be used, which guests can find in the wardrobe.
Beach towels and parasols, as well as sand toys for children, are available for guests, which guests can take to the beach.
The Guest is obliged to report any malfunction of any equipment or facilities of the accommodation. The Guest is not entitled to repair the defect himself or attempt to repair it. The accommodation excludes any liability for any resulting damage or injury, and the guest causing the damage is liable.
General rules
Littering is prohibited in the accommodation area or in the residential building. Guests must place their waste in the garbage bins designated for this purpose at the accommodation. There is no garbage bin in the communal area of the residential building. If the bins are full, they must be taken to the communal garbage collection islands set up for this purpose in the street.
The accommodation provider is not liable for any damage to the guest's belongings, valuables or cash brought into the accommodation.
The accommodation is not liable for damage caused by natural disasters and storms, fire, infections and diseases, damage caused by crime or violation of regulations, or by terrorist acts.
